The R56 is a shorter and more scenic alternative to the N2 when travelling from Kwazulu Natal to Eastern Cape. Resthaven Guesthouse is a great stopover for weary travellers to stretch their legs and grab a hot cup of coffee. Excellent Trout, Bass and Carp fishing is available in our area, contact us to make arrangements. Our son is a flyfishing enthusiast and will happily entertain you with his vast knowledge of fishing in the area, and show you around some of the fishing waters. There are 3 Border Posts around Matatiele for the 4x4 enthusiasts, with Lesotho only 30km from our Establishment. We can happily show you around our beautiful area, as we have a 4x4 available. Resthaven Guesthouse is the perfect base from which to explore the Southern Drakensburg. We are very accomodating to travellers and are a child friendly.
